Client Project - Teddy Bear Quince Dress.
I had a client who had commissioned a miniature version of her younger sister’s quinceañera dress for a teddy bear she was going to gift her. She wasn’t expecting it to look 100% like a match but I was able to find the perfect colors and giver her something I know would be cherished for generations.
Here is our model!
Drafted out a small pattern and cut it out for a quick pinned mock up.
Here I ended up hand embroidering the pattern on the tiny bodice and adhering small gems. There is a small layer of sparkly tulle as well.
Finished tiny bodice.
Attaching the bottom to the bodice.
It took 5 yards of 15” cut strips total of sparkly tulle and organza to get the desired puffy look.
Close up on the bodice details.
I lined the inside with a matching fabric.
I made sure miss bear was comfy with a stretchy back closure incase the dress needed to be placed onto something else or if miss bear gained any weight from all the honey.

The lucky receiver of the client’s gift. It makes me so happy to be able to pick up commissions like this. They’re always fun and rewarding when I get photos like this.
